Puppy help?

Me and my family are getting a puppy. We want to get it in August, but when should we be looking? We have already started looking, but so far have not come up with the right puppy. I think I might have found it but will have to check with the family before contacting the breeder. But how far is too far to Travel with a pup? Getting from this breeder might mean an hour and a halves drive.

I prefer meeting an animal and seeing their personality before naming them (Diva went 2 weeks w/o a name...) So I can't really come up with any suggestions but here's something that might help<br /> <br /> <a href=http://www.petnames.net>http://www.petnames.net/</a>

we want to wait that long because then the puppy will have less of a stressfull transition and so will we as this is the first dog me and my family will own. We want the house to be perfect for our new pet and safe.<br /> <br /> Ace is cool
